And so I turn 31...

And still feel as froggie as ever! :D

what happened from 30 to 31? Mmmm... I met dozen of wonderful folks up there on the US and some more on other continents. I must say this been the year I've meet the most people, so it has been quite the successful time.

I hope next year I can tell a larger story

The Quest for a Tablet

Ever since dear awesome-miniature-artist Ashton got his tablet at PaizoCon and I got to see first-hand how his awesomeness ncrease about 5 ranks, I decided to leave the realm of Pencil-only art and join the Wacom tablet owners. AS most of you know those thingies can go from $70 to $2,000+, so actually getting one wasn't such a difficult feat, but the problem was that I didn't wanted a regular tablet... and so I waited and waited to get my chance to land a nice gig and get me one of at least $250, still a Wacom bamboo tablet but the one with the largest work area.

As time went by and my Deviant site got spammed with several Ashtonishing (heh!) art, I decided to wait no more. And so I worked up a devilish plan. A 10 spot promo where I would offer to color for free all commissions that got in. This promo was supposed to close in 30 days or after all spots were taken, something I thought it would occour in some 25-30 days, and to my surprise, I'm down to 2 spots left in these 2 days since I started it.

I never cease to amaze myself with the awesomeness of the Paizo community, for I know that the people commissioning me do like my stuff, but I'm convinced that they ot the commission more on the thought of helping me out.

This journal is a big silent thank you for those few of you who reside in LJ, and a way to vent some of my excitement!

THANKS GUYS!

PaizoCon Fanzine

And here starts the quest to layout the HUGE fanzine... Dark Mistress Lilith managed to get 33ish entries and on all her awesomeness she accepted them all :D Now we will make this lovely fat fanzine full of 50,000ish words plus 35+ art pieces... Now that I put it in numbers, I think this project would cost around $ 3,000 to produce...not counting printing... So this is no small feat :D

I must congratz Liz and her crew of editors (Daigle among them) for the fantastic work and all "Patrons and Sponsors" who have managed to raise enoug funds to get us close to cost coverage. In around four weeks, PaizoCon attendants, Sponsors and Contributors will have this fat firts issue of the fanzine in their hands.

Thanks everyone!
